Humans vs. The Perch
The Yellow Perch has many characteristics similar to humans however the Yellow Perch has some different body structures as well as distinctive body systems that operate unlike a human. Both humans and the Yellow Perch have the same traits that most people would expect like nostrils ,heart, liver, eyes and stomach but, there are many other things humans and Perch have in common. They both have bilateral symmetry and a nervous system that consists of a brain, spinal chord and nerves.

Similarities between the Yellow Perch and Humans
The Perch along with Humans have diverse diets mostly consuming of meets but also includes plants. They have jaws and teeth for chewing. Once food is chewed it moves into the esophagus then into the stomach. the stomach secretes acid and digestive enzymes that begin to break food down until it reaches the intestine where digestion is completed and nutrients are absorbed.
